JYJ‘s Yoochun has been receiving countless praises for his acting in SBS‘s new drama ‘Rooftop Prince‘.
The pilot episode of ‘Rooftop Prince’ aired on March 21st, and from the get go, Park Yoochun impressively pulled off his dual roles with his stable acting talent.
When he played Yong Tae Yong, his character that’s living in the modern times, he naturally played the role comfortably. Then when he played the role of ancient Prince Lee Gak, his acting clearly showed the leadership and charisma of a true prince.
Viewers left numerous compliments on the show’s official message board saying, “His acting has improved so much in such a little time. Even in ‘Sung Kyun Kwan Scandal’ he was good, considering he was a rookie, but this time I was really impressed” and “It felt so real. His emotional acting of sandness and anger was excellent.”
The general CP of SBS’s Drama division, Kim Young Seob said, “Park Yoochun’s acting is different from what he showed in past productions. For even a veteran actor, it is hard to play two different characters at once. But, whether he plays Yong Tae Yong or Lee Gak, it just feels natural. It was his steady and stable acting that clearly showed off his skills.”
On another note, ‘Rooftop Prince’ kicked off their first episode with a rating of 9.8% and the second episode displayed the ancient Prince adjusting to modern day life. Check out a hilarious clip from the second episode below.
