Have your ever ran around to find streaming link for a Korean drama and ended up finding nothing or streaming one but the picture would’t move? Have you experienced the feeling of sitting in front of your laptop screen, staring at your favorite actor without knowing what on earth he was talking about? Have you ever struggled to find sub for your favorite drama around, finally found one but could not understand the messy sub even though it was in English? Aigoo I understand where you are coming from because I myself have also experienced the same things. International fans always find it hard to follow a Korean drama due to the language differences. Do not worry my loves! Do you know what era it is? In this informative – technology era, there is nothing you can’t do.

1. Updating information:
When a drama is airing, beside the actual 2 hours on air each week, the production company, the broadcasting station, and even fans always give out a lot of info to keep us on tracks.Those are BTS vid, interviews, news, pics… and plenty kinds of other info. We need to keep ourselves hyped up for the drama by updating as much as possible. So where to go?
a. Twitter + Weibo
You can’t find any place that is better than Twitter in terms of updating. Everything is on Twitter nowadays. So if you don’t have a Twitter acct yet, please consider getting one. If you already have it, please be on Twitter more often ^^
Same with Weibo for Chinese speakers.
b. Rooftop Prince Soompi Thread:
If you hate Twitter, or do not have time to log in often and backtrack a bunch of tweets, please consider this option. Soompi is a nice forum to keep you updated about a drama. Soompi members are very diligent on updating new info everyday. Moreover, during the time drama is airing, it is also a place for many drama masters (who will give you nice discussion and summary for each ep) to gather together. It is not just where you can get info about the drama, but also where you can get new friends and share your thought about the drama and your favorite actors.
c. 6002Sky:
Hahaha of course I won’t forget to come back to my home sweet home and you are not allowed to forget us. I know we are pretty slow recently, but we will try our best during the drama time to update as much as possible. And of course, we will provide you more exclusive info and subbed vids as we promise.
d. Rooftop Prince Thread in some countries:

We can’t not forget about our huge Chinese speaking Chunsas communication. So if you can read Chinese, we highly recommend Rooftop Prince Baidu Thread for you to visit. They are very devoted, passionate and updated.

Kites Rooftop Prince Thread: (Recommended for Vietnamese Chunsas)
Kites/KST is the biggest drama forum in Vietnam. It has the fastest VNmese sub as well compared to the speed of Engsub from Viki. This forum is very active and updated. Yoochun has a good number of fans here as well so the drama thread is moving pretty fast.

2. Live Streaming Sites:
There is no way that we can stream directly SBS to help the rating. However we recommend this for Chunsas who are learning Korean or who just want to see Yoochun as soon as possible even though you can not understand what he is sayng (like me ^^)
TVU Newworks You can stream it online on the site or download its app to your computer. SBS is written as KBC on this site.
On Air TV I highly recommend this site. For people that live in the US and Asia, I think you can be able to access this sitel. I am not sure about other areas as one of our admins can not access it from her country. Very acceptable quality, not too much lagging and various choices of channels. One thing, you have to sign up to stream on this site. No worry, it is free, and it takes you less than 2 minutes.
MySolive TV I have not tried this one but it is said to be a great site for streaming. In order to stream, you have to install the app and sign up. However, I think it is worth the try.
3. Raw Episode Downloading Sites:
For people that can not stream but get annoyed by some fellows who keep talking about spoilers and they won’t ever shut up until you kill them (but of course you can’t kill them since you love spoilers yourself). Highly recommend for people who want eye feast, Korean learners or drama subbing sites.
Of course, every site that is listed in Part 1 will update the link as soon as possible, especially Soompi so keep your eyes on them. And of course we will share the link as soon as possible here as well. However, we will provide you some direct links to find HD raw episode.
Semi_Fly (Soompi) Semi_Fly (Mediafire) She is the best and the fastest. Soompi thread updates her link most of the time.
4. Drama Recapping Blogs:
Here you go, mental meal for our drama addict. This one is recommended for people who like spoiler only. If you cannot wait for sub to understand what the episode is about, drama blogs are the best places you can go. There are some famous drama bloggers that you may know. However, whether you like their recap or not depends on your personal taste.
Dramabeans One of the most famous drama bloggers online. I like her and don’t like her at the same time =)) Recently she employed a lot of new recappers so I am not sure whether their recaps are the same before. However I still highly recommend her, she recaps fast and a lot. She is very funny as well.
CoughKimchi Nice drama blog, at least for me, very updated. They stay pretty unbiased the whole time. The owner’s writing is very nice and funny. I can’t help by crack up every time reading her recap. However, they recap slower than other drama blogs.
Koala’s Playground Good drama blogs in term of updating. I do not know if she recaps a lot but I think many people like her style. I don’t but she is very funny and she shows a lot of interest in Rooftop Prince recently. So I hope she recaps this drama.
Softy Woa finally I found her link. Thank you for recommending. Do you still remember her in Soompi SKKS Thread? Super fast recap. Only 3 or 4 hours after the real airing time.
5. Subbing Sites:
I am really saving the best for the last. Is that all what you really need to know?
Engsub:
Viki Rooftop Prince Subbing Team Everyone knows Viki. It offers fast softsub, ok quality in many languages. The best thing is that you can actually comment when watching. Do not tell me you have never cracked up reading those comments. I think it is very nice that Viki has that feature.
KimchiDrama Very fast and nice hardsub for popular dramas. The speed is slower for others. Well, let’s hope Rooftop Prince will be a big hit then ^^
WITHS2 Best site for high quality sub. You have to wait longer than other sites though. What best comes last. Definitely a MUST for everyone who appreciates quality over speed. Registration is not needed but if you like both quality and speed? Become paid members, you will receive the sub very fast.
KShowNow The site subs everything so the speed may not be fast. However their sub is nice. Highly recommend for subbed TV shows.
Darksmurf The fastest so far among all the subbing teams. However, if you eat fast, you won’t feel the good taste. The sub is pretty bad, I doubt you can understand the whole thing without checking sub from other sites later. You need to register to DL.
We have a lot of another sites who repost sub from some English subbing teams such as EpDrama, MySoju, DramaCrazy, DramaFever and so on.
Other languages sub:
TSKSCN Best Chinese Subbing team I heard. Rooftop Prince Subbing team in this site is pretty big and solid. However, you are only allowed to register on some certain days so it is gonna be harder than other sites. Here is their weibo
INAF_JYJ JYJ Spanish Subbing team. They are planning to sub the drama in Spanish
KITES Kites again, best Vietnamese Subbing team. High speed, good quality and beautiful sub. No registration needed, highly recommended for VNmese drama fans.
MrPoutyLip One of our best fellow fansites. They will do softsub for the drama. Though it is not going to be as fast as other VNmese Subbing Teams since it is their first, they will try their best.
