JYJ breaks 350,000 sales mark for “In Heaven”

JYJ has proven themselves once again, reaching the top of the sales charts for the month of September.

For the first time, Gaon charts have revealed detailed information in regards to JYJ’s album, ‘In Heaven’.

JYJ sold 165,000 copies of ‘In Heaven’ in September after releasing it on the 28th, beating other top stars like KARA, Super Junior, and Infinite, boasting the highest number of album sales.

Previously, JYJ’s Distributor A&G Mode was not a member company of Gaon and therefore Gaon couldn’t update the status of album sales in real time, having to later report a final number.

Previously, Gaon stated via their main website, “We’re in negotiations with JYJ’s distributors, A&G Mode in regards to a data offer, and JYJ’s monthly sales numbers may be available by October 10th.”

JYJ’s ‘In Heaven’ has currently surpassed the 350,000 sales mark, and their agency reported, “JYJ’s new album sold 165,000 copies within 3 days of being released, and we were unable to keep up the supply with the demands. We know that we have sold more than 350,000 to date and look forward to breaking another record.”

[News] 111013 JYJ’s Jaejoong to deliver 7 tonnes of rice to 29 undernourished children for a year

JYJ‘s Jaejoong will be sponsoring 29 children living in poverty by providing seven tonnes of rice over a full year.

Representatives visited the Korea Association of the Community Child Center to submit Jaejoong’s deed of intention, specifying that seven tonnes of rice would be donated to 29 children. For a year, the 29 children will be delivered 20 kg of rice every month.

The rice was collected through the production conference for his SBS drama, ‘Protect the Boss‘. Fans from all over the world, including the States, UK, China, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Peru, Ukrania, and Qatar sent in rice wreaths to show their support.

The 29 children were chosen through the recommendations made by the KACCC. After discussing their options with the families, Jaejoong made the decision to sponsor the undernourished children.

About Kim Jaejoong:

I wondered what kind of heart an idol would carry when coming at acting. The point for what I truly want to give him applause is that he has sincerely engaged himself into it. It’s not something like ‘I must be an actor too’ but you must do it (acting) systematically. If you’re too inflexible, your own color can’t be shown. But he always sought advice from seniors without shaking.

In the interview with Seoul Shinmun NTN, Choi Kanghee said, “Ji Sung and Jaejoong had a good atmosphere together. So I told the two to do a project together.”

“I think that I can’t get close to all the actors after acting with them in just one drama. If we can meet again by chance, we will be able to smile and have a good memory together. In Jaejoong’s case, since this kid has tried to get the along and approached first, has fully thrown himself into acting, I couldn’t help being doing well too. I think I has become like that because he matched up our level first.”

She confessed, “In last episodes of the drama, I had a sweet milk kiss with Kim Jaejoong. But in reality, it was really difficult because I have an allergy to milk.”

In the later half of the drama, Wang Jihye had a milk kiss with Kim Jaejoong who was playing tug-of-war in love. After wiping milk on Kim Jaejoong’s lips with her thump, Wang Jihye dragged him into a ardent kiss, which has become the talk of the town for a long time.

But Wang Jihye, who has been suffering from allergy to dairy products since she was little, said, “After receiving and reading the script, I was horrified of the fact that my lips must touch milk. Went to Korea~
In order to meet my dear friend, I went on a holiday to Korea.
All that happened were really great and it was filled with smiles everyday. (laughs)

1st day
I reached Korea in the daytime and did my best to reach Seoul with my language difference.
Totally like a lost child. (laughs)
But! Received a call at the right moment and finally reached friend’s house. (laughs)
Yeah!! It’s a castle (laughs)
We met for 5 mins!!
And suddenly went to the gym…. (laughs)
Ran for 40mins~
Ever since my high school, I have never ran for so long… (laughs)
But my muscles weren’t so sore.
After the workout, he called a lot of friends to come over.
Ah….. went for a drink!!!
Yes, it was really terrible the next day. (laugh)

2nd day

Yes, my body state was completely bad.
