Sohn Junghyun PD of Boss Says: “2nd Half Begins. Please Focus on Kim Jaejoong’s Feats.”
Sohn Junghyun PD of the SBS Wed-Thursday drama Protect the Boss announced the start of the second half and along with it Kim Jaejoong’s upcoming feats.
Sohn Junghyun PD requested: “The curtains for the second half will be drawn on the 9th episode. After the stair-steps kiss of Ji Sung and Choi Kanghee, the melodramatic parts of the four leads will be unfolded with more tension. With them in the center there will be a major event as well. And in the midst of this, please focus on Kim Jaejoong’s moves and feats.”
Continuing, Sohn PD thanked all of the actors, saying: “Not merely the lead actors but Kim Youngok sunsaeng-nim, and Park Youngkyu, Cha Hwayeon and Kim Chung sunsaeng-nims, and not merely them but all of the appearing cast are great at acting and also are good-natured and are warm human beings. I received much benefit through the actors in directing this drama, to the degree that I thought to myself—’I am such a lucky man.’”
Sohn PD who was introducing episodes about the secretary room, as Noh Eunsul is a secretary in the drama, gave a tip: “The episodes in which Eunsul brought back “meal tickets” instead of “new money” (because the two words have similar pronunciations), sang alone in the kitchen, and walked the streets because of her boss are all real ones which were obtained through interviewing actual secretaries. In the remaining episodes, the battles of the secretaries with sparks flying, such as the competition in being assigned the best seats on the airplane and such not-yet-revealed stories, will be portrayed.”
To finish, Sohn PD renewed his determination “To the viewers who have affections for the drama and the actors and the fans who have visited the filming set to send their support, I want to send my sincere thanks. I will do my best to make Boss a drama which the viewers will wish to watch to the end, and one that makes them feel good.”
