Boss Kim Jaejoong. “Wang Jihye and I have never even held hands but we kissed first…”
Kim Jaejoong who is appearing in the SBS Wed-Thursday drama Protect the Boss poured out his thoughts on the kiss scene.
On the 5th episode of Protect the Boss that aired on the 17th, Cha Muwon who is the director of headquarters for DN Group shared a kiss with the advertising executive Seo Nayun in the car. The kiss scene of the couple, who were nicknamed “NaMu Couple” at the time, happened without any kind of an announcement and thus was met with much acclamation by many fans.
Kim Jaejoong laughed: “Miss Jihye and I have never even held hands in the drama, but we kissed first. At the time of the filming also, I put myself to the task of acting by conversing comfortably with Miss Jihye. But after this scene was revealed, truly so many fans showed a heated response and so I was also very surprised.”
Continuing, he added: “Because of this kiss scene, I had the thought that even though Muwon’s heart likes Noh Eunsul, it still has substantial remaining feelings for Nayun. So I had the wish that for Muwon too there will be a love line with one of either Eunsul or Nayun.”
Further, Kim Jaejoong revealed his upper body for a bit during a recent airing and thus became the talk of the town again. He explained: “In the scene in which I changed my shirt, there was a part where the shoulders were to be exposed—but because there hadn’t been a lot of preparation (my upper body) was revealed for the slightest of moments.”
To finish, Kim Jaejoong relayed: “In order to create the character of Muwon that I want and that the viewers want, I will examine the script even more and will try my very best.”
