Wang Jihye of Protect the Boss Confesses: “Wish that (Nayun) Becomes Happy with Kim Jaejoong” In the End
Wang Jihye of Protect the Boss has confessed her inner heart—that she wishes happiness with Kim Jaejoong.
Wang Jihye is playing the role of Seo Nayun in the SBS Wed-Thursday drama Protect the Boss. She reminisced: “Thanks to being with a truly great production crew and actors, I had so much enthusiasm for acting. It was truly fun to go to the film set.”
Wang Jihye, who was on the topic of the ending as there are only two episodes left until the finale, revealed her inner heart: “Just as Eunsul and Jihun fills each other’s lacking spots, I wish that Muwon will supplement the aspects of Nayun that is wanting. Until now, Nayun’s heart for Muwon has slowly grown. I hope that please, in the end, the two become happy (together).”
Continuing, Wang Jihye said the following about the drama character: “In terms of Nayun, she could have been perceived as rather hateful under the drama’s structure, unlike Eunsul. But just as she shouted out “the power of education” at a certain moment, the writer and the director created a character that had some imperfections. I think thanks to that Nayun was reborn into a loveable character.”
Wang Jihye felt herself her popularity as she filmed the drama. She confessed: “Suddenly, there were people who would say hello to me in hair salons and elevators. At first I thought—‘is this someone that I should know but cannot remember?; But then they’d say ‘I am enjoying the drama very much’ and only then I thought ‘wow, many people know Nayun.’ I felt great.”
On the other hand, the follow-up to Protect the Boss which will finish on the 29t is Tree with Deep Roots, to start airing on October 5.
