Scent of a Woman Holds a Special Concert for Childhood Cancer Patients
Scent of a Woman will hold a special concert for those suffering with childhood cancer.
On the coming September 11th in Olympic Park Gymnastics Field of Seoul, a special concert in which the main actors and the OST singers of the SBS weekend drama Scent of a Woman will be held. This concert is a charity concert for those children suffering from childhood cancer. This is not unrelated to the scenario of Yeonjae who in the drama receives a diagnosis of cancer and lives a life the days of which are numbered.
On the concert of this day, the leads of the drama Scent of a Woman and the artists that made the OST shine will attend and will show “talks” and also the songs themselves.
In particular, JYJ’s Kim Junsu not only sang the OST but even made a special appearance in the drama in the 5th episode. He will also participate in this concert and will be with Scent of a Woman until the end to have a closure to the special meeting.
In the concert, one can hear all of the popular songs that heated up the drama—the OSTs of course, and the “love song” that was romantic, and the “heart-wring song” that had the ardent heart of Yeonjae and Jiwook.
It became known that the proceeds that will be made with the concert was to be donated in full for childhood cancer sufferers. This is a result of the will of the production crew and the actors who wished to give small considerateness and help to those children fighting cancer, as much as Yeonjae who is living a numbered life due to cancer is the heroine.
The production crew relayed: “Above all, this concert has a special meaning in that the attendees will listen with the lead actors of Scent of a Woman the jewel-like songs of the drama and watch the last episode together. It is the same as if the production crew is donating the whole of the expenses related to the finale party. Just as the leads who spend a meaningful and happy tie in finding out the small meanings of life, this concert will be a unique time for not merely the sufferers of childhood cancer but also the viewers, actors, and staff.”
On the other hand, Scent of a Woman is an SBS weekend drama that airs at 9:50pm on weekends. Yeonjae has announced a breakup even though it has not been very long since starting to date. Jiwook has come to know of Yeonjae’s fight with cancer and its effects are announced.
