The Summer Nourishing Foods that JYJ Enjoys. “How Can This Be?”
The tiresome rain season is coming to an end and the month of August which has the hot sun shine down is approaching. How does the Korean Wave stars JYJ, spending busy days with the world tour, dramas, and musicals, receive the summer in which one loses appetite and the health declines? We looked at JYJ’s nourishing foods for summer.
JYJ, known as foodies in regular life, is on the side of making an occasion of the “dog days” (of the summer). (T/N: The “dog days” are believed to be the hottest days of the summer and the Koreans often eat a nourishing dish on each of the 3 “dog days.”)Furthermore, Kongjindan (T/N: a spherical capsules of Eastern Medicine) which has become well-known through (the drama) The Best Love is an item that has received the love of the members since last year.
Kim Jaejoong, who is devoting himself to filming with the drama Protect the Boss, is a lover of hot foods. He is standing up to summer with a menu that fights heat with heat—hot jjamppong (T/N: A Korean Chinese-style dish), hot stir fry of calamari, and such.
Park Yoochun who is taking a rest after filming Miss Ripley is on the side of enjoying a variety of summer fruits, befitting of an ad model of summer’s iced tea. Further, unlike his city looks, he is a lover of Korean foods such as chicken fry soup, innards of cow, kal noodles (T/N: a flour noodle dish with thick broth) and such and it is said that he forgets the heat by paying a round to the good restaurants.
Kim Junsu who has in front of him the participation in the OST of the well-talked-about drama The Scent of a Woman enjoys dishes of chicken usually. Samgye Soup and Bak Suk (T/N: both boiled chicken dishes) are his favorite nourishing dishes and it is said that he seeks them especially often in summer.
