JYJ Chosen as Honorary Ambassadors for Korea Electric Power Corporation
Male group JYJ has been chosen as the honorary ambassadors for Korea Electric Power Corporation (hereafter, KEPCO).
JYJ had the appointment ceremony and announced its activities in earnest as honorary ambassadors on the 5th in the Musical Event in Commemoration of 50 Years Since Founding which was held in the main headquarters of KEPCO in Samsungdong, Seoul.
In the appointment ceremony of this day, an affiliate of KEPCO revealed: “We came to select JYJ as honorary ambassadors because JYJ’s young, dynamic, and global image matched with what KEPCO which has had its 50th anniversary of its founding strives for. JYJ is a Korean Wave artist that represents Korea. JYJ plans to actively cooperate in promoting a young and future-looking image for KEPCO so that it can lead together a global electricity Korean Wave.”
Kim Jaejoong gathered attention in the appointment ceremony by speaking a thought that was special: “I heard that KEPCO is doing eyesight recovery operations for fifty or so Korean and foreign people of need for its 50th anniversary of its founding. I was moved by this.”
Park Yoochun said: “JYJ will be with KEPCO in its promoting Korea abroad through the electricity industry.” Kim Junsu relayed: “JYJ will also do its best in establishing itself as an international artist.”
