JYJ’s Park Yoochun plans to showcase a song of his own for the viewers of ‘Miss Ripley’.
In ‘Part 3′ of MBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Miss Ripley’ OST, Park Yoochun will be rolling up his sleeves to help out his drama as he sings ‘This Empty Place is For You’, the theme song for Song Yoo Hyun.
Park Yoochun’s ‘This Empty Place is For You’ is a ballad piece that expresses the longing for one woman. This song is expected to multiply the effect of the actors’ emotions on the viewers as it is sung by Park Yoochun and his voice that calls forth a strong sense of longing.
The reason ‘This Empty Place is For You’ is garnering more attention than it normally would, is because Jeon Hae Sung, who composed Baek Ji Young’s ‘That Woman’ and Hyun Bin’s ‘That Man’, composed the piece. The ‘Jeon Hae Sung style Ballad’, famous for their emotional lyrics and ardent melodies, along with Park Yoochun’s appealing voice, is expected to move the viewers deeply.
With ardent and tearful lyrics like “My love, this empty place is for you, only you, only you, only you/So you won’t realize that, I try to deny it and smile/If it hurts you, I don’t like it. I don’t like parting/You shouldn’t love me” and, “I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, my one and only love/Though that what my heart shouts, I can’t say it out loud because you are so precious/It’s okay if I get hurt, because I love you/I can cry till I go crazy”, one can see that the lyrics overlap with Song Yoo Hyun’s feelings and love for Jang Miri, which will touch the viewers.
The production company stated, “Through the ‘Miss Ripley’ OST, Park Yoochun will reveal everything that Song Yoo Hyun feels in the drama,” and “The heart-wrenching melody and Park Yoochun’s voice go so well together that the song will dig deep into the hearts of viewers.”
