[NEWS] 120206 ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ goes to the finals during New York TV Festival

KBS’s series Sungkyunkwan Scandal recently went into the finals at the ’2012 New York TV Festival’ and drew a lot of attention.
The series was written by writer Jung Eun Kwol, who also wrote MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday series The Moon Embracing the Sun. It started airing on August 30, 2010 and was loved by many people.
The series was especially loved by female viewers receiving a female audience rating of 10 percent while receiving a male audience rating of only 4 percent. Park Yoo Chun, Yoo Ah In, and Song Joong Ki captured many women’s hearts and the series was very popular in Japan. As a result, the series received the Hallyu Prize at the ’2011 Seoul Drama Awards.’
The final result for the ’2012 New York TV Festival’ will be announced in March and the award ceremony will be held on April 17 in Las Vegas, the United States.
KBS’s Korea, China, Japan, Writing a New History of the Three Kingdoms for Millennium Generation received the Silver Prize in the history category at the 2011 festival and Korean Ghost Stories received the Gold Prize in the TV movie and drama category in 2010.
Sungkyunkwan Scandal will definitely win!!!! Yoochun Fighting!  SKKS Fighting!!
