K-pop group JYJ will be starting their U.S. leg of their world tour tonight in Newark, New Jersey. In preparation of the group’s official grand debut in North America, JYJ held a press conference on Monday (5/16) at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.
JYJ is comprised of three former members of South Korean boyband TVXQ. Since last year, Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu, had begun their path as JYJ. Last fall, JYJ released their global debut album, “The Beginning” in English.
At the press conference, the two members expressed their excitement in doing this North America concert tour, and they are looking forward in meeting their fans. For the American and Canadian shows, they want to present a sexier performance than what they had done in their Asia tour. They also said that there will be a concert DVD, but they haven’t set its release date yet.
During the open Q&A session, heyyaa! asked the Jaejoong and Junsu how they keep themselves looking great and staying fresh after their long flights from Asia. And to our surprise, Jaejoong quickly replied, “Really, we don’t do maintenance!” and Junsu also added: “We are not fresh.”
