Song Joongki learns his SKKS role from Yoochun

Actor Song Joong Ki arrived in Taiwan yesterday to promote drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal”. He showed off a bit of Mandarin and revealed whom he learned the “playboy” image from in order to interpret the character in the drama.
Arriving around 11AM, Song Joon Ki came to Taiwan for the first time. Yet there were many fans waiting for him in the airport. At the press conference, he revealed that his older brother speaks Mandarin really well, so he learned the basics from him.
He played the role of playboy Goo Yong Ha in "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," and his acting was convincing enough to make people believe he must be a playboy in real life as well. When asked about this question, he laughed and revealed, “I learned it all from JYJ’s Yoochun. I’m afraid JYJ’s fans will be mad at me if I say too much!” Still, he couldn't stop revealing interesting episodes that happened while filming the drama, as he said, "The weather was really hot during the filimg, so we sometimes just took off our shirts when there were no fans watching!"
Together with Yoo Ah In, they won the KBS’s Best Couple Awards last year. He said “It was awkward when I first knew we were nominated for this award, yet I was still eager to win!(Laughs).” He further clarified and stated, “I’m not interested in men at all! I love women with long straight hair and nice body. When checking out girls, I usually see from their back first!”
Song Joong Ki will be leaving Taiwan after a signing event this afternoon.

[Trans] 110422 “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” Song Joong Ki Talks About His Friendship With Yoochun

Yoochun, from popular Kpop group Tohoshinki and JYJ attracted a lot of attention with his first drama acting challenge, “Sungkyunkwan Scandal.” The full set of DVDs were released for sale on 22 April, and Song Joong Ki, who played the role of playboy “Gu Yongha” in the popular “Jjalgeum Quartet” talks about the difficulties during production as well as episodes with Yoochun.

(Song Joong Ki) talked about Yoochun, who challenged acting for the first time in the same project, saying “He (asked for and) got a lot of advice.” “He’s an impressive guy (laughs), but to say that he got “acting advice” is a bit too much. Yoochun may be a rookie actor, but he has a solid position in the music industry as a singer, so I didn’t want to hurt his pride. But when he was told various things, he would be really thankful and accept it, which was unexpected. From then on, we would ask each other questions, and we could do our work comfortably and well.
