[NEWS] Junsu Plays With Fate In JYJ “In Heaven” MV

The return of JYJ has officially begun:

On September 15, C-JeS Entertainment revealed the full MV to JYJ’s title track, “In Heaven, timed in conjunction with the long-awaited release of JYJ’s ten-track Korean album, also titled In Heaven.

And after last week’s foreboding MV teaser, JYJ fans finally get to experience Junsu and Song Ji Hyo‘s touching love story. Junsu plays the all-too-busy boyfriend who chooses work over love, which he learns to regret only after fate takes Ji Hyo’s life in a tragic car accident.

If anyone’s seen the film If Only, this MV might ring a few bells.

Years later, a grief-stricken Junsu is now a highly successful businessman (a la Jaejoong in Protect the Boss and Yoochun in Miss Ripley), but it’s an empty shell of a life, with the gaping hole that Ji Hyo’s death has left behind.

When the clocks rewind back to 2008 and Ji Hyo shows up at his door, Junsu realizes that he’s been given a second chance to make her happy. But there’s an expiration date on this heaven-sent reunion as the date of Ji Hyo’s accident approaches…

The MV goes hand-in-hand with the sorrowful, regretful lyrics of “In Heaven,” which is said to have been written by Jaejoong for his close friend, actor Park Yong Ha, who took his own life last June. “In Heaven” also features actress Kim Jung Eun, who does the short but poignant narrations at the beginning and end of the song.

JYJ Creates a Storm of Popularity for Digital Music Without Broadcast. “Recognition as Singer-Songwriter”

Group JYJ’s first Korean language album In Heaven is receiving a heated response despite the lack of any particular broadcast related to music.

As soon as all of the songs of In Heaven were released on the midnight of the 15^th, all of them ranked highly on the charts.

An affiliate of the JYJ’s record relayed his thoughts: “We are surprised at the tremendous response as compared to only having concentrated on performing and not doing any broadcast activities including appearing on music programs. It seems that the public has been awaiting for JYJ to release a domestic album to this degree.”

The biggest particularity of this album by JYJ is that it is made up of the self-created songs by the members. The affiliate revealed: “Through this album JYJ tried to prove their abilities as singer-songwriters and also their niche unique to them through the harmony that blends the attractive vocals of the three members.”

JYJ explained their current album: “We feel that it would be good for you to think of it as an “autumn love song”, JYJ version. Our work centered around the songs that had poetic melodies and lyrics that stood out.”

They added: “We wanted to gift a good memory for the many of you who are always by our side waiting for our music.” JYJ is expressing a special affection for the fans throughBoy’s Letter and You’re.

On the other hand, the music video for In Heaven with Kim Junsu and actress Song Jihyo was released along with the release of the digital music. This music video which is filled with the ardent acting by Kim Junsu and Song Jihyo and beautiful scenes plans to showcase in the future the “full video” which is a 10-minute version.

On the midnight of 6th, JYJ’s management company released the teaser of ‘In Heaven’ MV through their official website and hoped that “Fans would greatly support and love this MV of teary storyline with picturesque images.”

In the revealed teaser MV, actress Song Ji Hyo and JYJ member Kim Junsu appeared as lovers with affectionate scenes of the couple on a bicycle ride, wine-tasting and a surprise event that Junsu had prepared for Song Ji Hyo. However the second part of the MV shows Song Ji Hyo walking alone or crying secretly in a sorrowful ambience. The two never get to meet as Kim Junsu was seen in a different place from Song Ji Hyo.

Many fans expressed, “Just by seeing the teaser is enough to make me anticipate for it”, “Kim Junsu and Song Ji Hyo acted well”, “JYJ’s MV has a movie semblance to it” etc, with overwhelming responses.

Additionally, ‘In Heaven’ was previously sung in JYJ’s overseas concerts and was likened by the fans. Written and composed by Kim Jaejoong, this song is a soft rock ballad and JYJ’s unique vocals added merits to its charm.

JYJ to Have a Comeback in Korea This Month… On the 6^th, the Junsu & Song Jihyo Music Video to be Revealed

Group JYJ  is preparing to have a comeback for the Korean music industry and to release a new song.

JYJ will reveal the music video of their new song In Heaven on the home page of their agency C-JeS Entertainment on the midnight of the 6^th and will announce their domestic activities.

JYJ’s affiliate revealed to Star News on the 5^th: “We will pre-release the music video of In Heaven which is one of the songs that are included in the album, which will have new songs in Korean.”

In Heaven is a song that has received much love from the fans after JYJ revealed it in concerts in Korea and abroad. It is a song that has put in it the heartbreaking sadness of a goodbye and melds well the sound and harmony of the members.

In the music video, the member Kim Junsu and the actress from the same company Song Jihyo appeared together. The two expressed the heart-wrenching feelings of the song well with the acting of a goodbye that was realistic.

JYJ who has not had many chances to stand on the stage of public television are negotiating with a distribution company the schedule of the album’s release. JYJ recently has had their attempted celebratory performance as honorary ambassador for theChallenge! This is Jeju, New 7 Wonders which was broadcasted by KBS founder.

On the other hand, JYJ is in the middle of planning a tour for the second half of this year.

[VIDEO] JYJ’s Junsu reveals special MV for “You Are So Beautiful”

If you’ve been charmed by JYJ’s Junsu and his cameo appearance in the SBS drama ‘Scent of a Woman‘, you’ll definitely fall in love with his music video for his OST track, “You Are So Beautiful“!

[NEWS] 110806 JYJ to release music video for "Get Out"

It was recently revealed that JYJ was recording for their new music video, "Get Out." Brazilian model Jane de Aquino, who also appeared in 2PM's "Hands Up" MV, later confirmed that the group had wrapped up filming. The video was shot in the same studio where 2PM had filmed, but the set was modified for a more urban style. Viewers will be impressed to learn that the luxurious cars seen in the MV actually belong to the JYJ members.

Jane described the filming process on her blog:

The MV was recorded on Sunday, July 24th. (The filming) started at 1pm and lasted until 6pm. It was exactly the same studio where 2PM’s MV was recorded but with different set and it was incredible!

(The set reminded me of) those little streets of New York with all its signboards, clubs, dirty places, smoke and rain. Oh and of course the cars that belonged to their own members. In the scene, they appeared singing in cars and we were around.

Regarding the members, she wrote:

They also are very likeable, but I interacted little with them- they followed all the work up close when they were not watching the scene and watched everything. And they are better looking in person than in photos. Their skins look like porcelain, so cute!… They wore chic suit and black necktie, the three.

Images of Jaejoong and Junsu filming for the new music video were also revealed.
