The words that can evaluate whether someone is a Boss-holic (the SBS TV Wed-Thursday drama Protect the Boss) are gifting fun.

Protect the Boss, thanks to the enthusiastic acting of the Director Cha Jihun, his secretary Noh Eunsul, Director Cha Muwon, and Advertising Executive Seo Nayun, is currently enjoying a great popularity, recording felt-ratings much higher than the paper ratings.

While this is happening, on many communities such as the drama home page and galleries have appeared words that evaluate whether one is a drama-holic and are gathering a great deal of attention.

First, Cha Jihun used to tease Noh Eunsul, of the Balsan Dong’s Legend Noh fame, with the taunt of crazy poop/bunhead and eventually confessed his feelings saying that “in the limbic system of my brain,” a stone has become stuck” and thus gathered the eyes. Through this confession, the Boss and the Secretary (T/N: The word “secretary” is pronounced Beeseo in Korean) became the BoBee Couple and they shared the famous stair steps kiss. 

Also, as Cha Muwon, the rival of Cha Jihun, had unrequited longings for Noh Eunsul, the SulWon Couple (T/N: The word “sulwon” also means “a field of snow” in Korean) was born. Further, as Seo Nayun and Cha Muwon kissed and Seo Nayun even confessed her feelings to Cha Muwon recently, the two became NaMu Couple by taking the (first syllable of each of the) names.

In particular, Cha Jihun and Cha Muwon who quibble and squabble like grade school kids in the drama are affectionately called ChaCha Couple. For CEO Cha and Cha Jihun, the affectionate name of Cha Cha Father-and-Son also gifts fun.

On top of this, Noh Eunsul called Cha Muwon, who selected her to become a secretary, Muwon-God. She termed Seo Nayun, who plastered ice cream on her butt out of jealousy, Ice Cream. Further, Cha Jihun called Myungran with the nickname of Wrestler Girl.

At this, the production staff said: “Protect the Boss is a romantic comedy, and therefore we created fun nicknames for the drama. Thankfully, the viewers have sent a great amount of enthusiasm for them as well.” They asked for much love for the drama: “In the remaining portion of the drama, there will be another kind of fun that is different from before to capture the eyes of the viewers.”

Boss Kim Jaejoong Turned Out To Be Truly “Muwon-God.” What Can’t He Do?

Kim Jaejoong has really become Muwon-God.

Kim Jaejoong of the SBS Wed-Thursday drama Protect the Boss is becoming the talk of the town every time he appears and thus ascended to the throne of the true “Muwon-God,” becoming a hot topic.

In Protect the Boss, Kim Jaejoong is enthusiastically acting out the role of the Prince of Financial World Cha Muwon, a talent recognized by the World Economic Forum. Due to his perfect character, a word was newly coined—the word combines the words Muwon and God, to become “Muwon-God” (T/N: pronounced in Korean as Muneunim.) All of his acting and performances are become issues and showing off a heat the degree of which conjures up the image of Muwon God. Upon Kim Jaejoong the eyes and ears are increasingly becoming focused.

On the episode that aired on the 8^th, Kim Jaejoong sang in turn Shin Sungwoo’s Seoshi and Sung Shikyung’s You Moved Me. These songs, immediately after airing, conquered the real-time rapid-rise key word charts on the music website Melon along with the term Protect the Boss OST.

The video in which he rode an S-board on the filming set was registered on YouTube on September 6^th. Currently on the 15^th which is ten days later, more than 120,000 people have clicked on this and have shown fervent enthusiasm. Further, every time something about Kim Jaejoong is revealed – such as the kiss scene between him and Wang Jihye playing Nayun, the scene in which he played basketball with Ji Sung, and the tweet in which he showed an image of himself saying hello to a statue – they are generating tremendous interest and are gifting the fans with great pleasure.

Already, Kim Jaejoong had caused talks to pour down when he received the gift of 6.56 tons of rice wreaths, the largest in history, from his fans at the time of the Boss Production Presentation. Also, he drew out an explosive response by having a surprise appearance in Kim Changryul’s Old School and caused the others to take guesses at the future of his popularity.

At this, the affiliate to SBS drama said: “Mr. Kim Jaejoong has achieved a great success as an actor. Even so, when he comes to the set of the drama, he always does his best in acting and monitoring in the mindset of a newcomer. Further, he always carefully listens to the words of Sohn Junghyun PD and the staff.” The affiliate did not spare his praises: “Due to the sense of script writer Kwon Kiyoung, he has gotten the affectionate name of Muwon-God. But now that we’ve worked with him, we now know that he is really Muwon-God himself. The singer and actor whose future we anticipate to be even brighter is none other than Mr. Kim Jaejoong.”

In the end, Cha Muwon asked her: “What are you doing now? Let’s talk.” As Muwon was about to leave, Nayun spotted a couple passing by in front of them. “To be honest, I don’t know how to play either. So we can just do what they do.” They then started to follow the couple.

Then, as the couple did, the two had ice cream on the street, ate ddukbokki, watched a street performance, and shared a fun time in the book store.

On the other hand, on this episode Seo Nayun explained to Cha Muwon: “I know that it seems ridiculous that I say I have feelings for you, when I used to be so hung up on Jihun. But it is just that I at that time did not understand my feelings for you. Now, I know it clearly.”

She attempted persuasion: “Your heart also should not be very clear as to whether you have feelings for me or not. Seo Nayun who again had her heart broken ran into a woman while walking with tears streaming. [PIC] 6 Year Old Boy Draws Muwon in “Protect the Boss”

The below was posted on a Korean community and is making waves!

My nephew who is 7 years old (T/N: Since Koreans count the year of their birth in their age, the boy is most likely 6 or 5 in American age) is a male fan of Jaejoong.

He loves Jaejoong so much, saying that Jaejoong-hyung sings well and that his looks is cool.

He is someone who sings along to For You (T/N: which Jaejoong sung in Tokyo Dome), and saying that Jaejoong-hyung comes on in Boss, he loves Protect the Boss so much too.

He told me today– “Jaejoong-hyung has another name, you know.” So I asked him “what name?” He said “Cha Muwon.” Keke

My nephew really loves that scene, where Muwon fights with Jihun while trying to rip Eunsul’s letter of resignation. And he drew this scene, cut by cut!

He drew the faces of Muwon and Jihun quite realistically (for his age), and so I am posting.

Wow! That is superb for such a young boy. XD

I have no desire to go there, I will just keep living in my neighborhood.”

Jihun could not say anything after hearing her words. But a while later, as he walked Eunsul home after his part-time work in a coffee shop, he opened he started to speak.

He conveyed his heart of being willing to throw away the life of a chaebol to choose Eunsul, saying: “You say that our neighborhood is not to your liking. So shall I go to Noh Eunsul’s neighborhood?”

On the 10^th episode of the SBS Wed-Thursday drama Protect the Boss, the scene in which Cha Muwon and Noh Eunsul date aired.

Cha Muwon who had prepared an event for Noh Eunsul requested a date, asking: “Please play with me, for just one day.” At this, Noh Eunsul declined, saying: “Didn’t I tell you that I like people on the level of assistant managers?” But Cha Muwon got his chance to date, saying: “Please think of it as saving a sorry person. Didn’t you say you’d always play with me?”

The two went to the movie theaters and also enjoyed a bicycle date. While sitting on a bench in an isolated area, Cha Muwon stared intensely at Noh Eunsul. At this Noh Eunsul scolded him, saying “Your staring (is so intense that it) will make a hole in my face.” Cha Muwon however responded that “you won’t get a hole with just this much” and continued the date naturally.

On the other hand, Cha Muwon revealed that he is aware that Noh Eunsul feels more attraction for Cha Jihun. Cha Muwon entreated: “Please wait, until when I do my best to come into your heart more.”
