JYJ has captured the hearts of our noble ladies from all over the world.
On the afternoon of the 27th, JYJ were invited to perform at the Nuclear Security Summit event that took place at the Blue House (presidential palace). They performed two songs, ‘In Heaven’ and ‘Be My Girl’; entertaining the eyes and ears of the guests at this event.
A spokesman commented, “JYJ are a unique group that have taken steps forward into Asia and North America, Europe, and even South America. The reaction from all the first ladies and the spouses were so great that I, as part of the planning team, am very thankful. It was a unique opportunity to show the world how great kpop is.” The guests that attended this event were from Gabon, Nigeria, Republic of South Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam, Switzerland, Singapore, Italy, India, Indonesia, China, Chile, Philipines, the United Nations, and the European Union, and their spouses were said to have been watching the concert with smiles on their faces throughout the performances.
JYJ commented, “We are very happy to have presented the greatness of Korea to the first ladies of great world leaders on this meaningful stage. After finishing our world tour, we were thrilled with the chance to further the prestige of our country and although it was a short time, we hope this will become a good memory of Korea for all the guests.” The first ladies of Switzerland, Vietnam, Philippines, Chile, and Republic of South Africa caught the attention as they asked to take a commemorative photo with JYJ after their performance. The first lady of Korea even spoke to Yoochun and said, “I’m very much enjoying your drama ‘Rooftop Prince’.”
JYJ recently had concerts in Chile and Peru, finishing their world tour in South America on the 15th, and for the time being are focusing on solo activities such as dramas and musicals.
