Recently S. Korean Megastar Kim Jae Joong, who came with S. Korean president Lee Myung-bak making an official visit to Turkey, drew wide attention at Atatürk International Airport while he was heading to Korea.

S. Korean world-famous singer Kim Jaejoong met his Turkish fans and the fans came to the airport to wish a safe journey to  Korea. Kim Jaejoong, a S. Korean singer and actor, arrived at Atatürk İnternational Airport at midday for his flight to Korea and the numerous Turkish fans welcomed him. Jaejoong’s who has 45 billion fans in Asia fans did everything, including scream his name, to gain attention of him. Kim Jaejoong’s fans who came to the airport said “We don’t want harem dramas. We want Kim Jae Joong’s dramas” (T/N: it’s wrong, the fans said “we don’t want harem dramas but modern dramas”).

[NEWS] 120209 Turkish Fans who became ‘barricades’ for the safety of JYJ Kim Jaejoong

Turkish fans who formed ‘barricades’ for JYJ Kim Jaejoong’s safety have garnered attention.

On Feb. 8, a Turkish TV news video, which reported on Jaejoong’s arrival in Turkey, was uploaded on a video website. In the video, he arrived in Turkey through the airport and was seen meeting and waving to fans who were there.

In particular, Kim Jaejoong’s popularity could be felt through the look of fans who waved Korean placards and the Korean flag passionately to welcome him for his visit to Turkey. Also, images of orderly fans who kept their distance autonomously for his safety caught attention.

Kim Jaejoong held a solo fan meeting in Ankara University’s hall through an invitation by the Turkey Korean Cultural Center on Feb. 5. The fan meeting was the first for a Korean singer and the tickets were sold out in 30 minutes. More than 2000 applications for the tickets were received, confirming Jaejoong’s hot popularity in Turkey.

Meanwhile, the fan meeting was not only the only event that he attended. He also participated in a discussion with the young Turkish people in Ankara University, together with President Lee Myung Bak who was on a visit to four Middle East countries. At night, he attended a state banquet at the Presidential Palace in Turkey, confirming his high popularity.

[NEWS] 120209 JYJ’s Jaejoong Upset with His Puffed Up Face

JYJ’s Jaejoong expressed his displeasure with his supposedly swollen face. On February 9, Jaejoong tweeted, “My cheeks are too puffed up,” with the following picture.

In the photo, Jaejoong is seen in a super close up shot, wearing what looks to be ear muffins. His upset eyes reflect the disappointment in his swollen face, although fans were rather impressed by his pure, porcelain-like skin.

Some netizens, however, showed frustration over the clean-cut singer’s comment, as they said, “What do you mean puffed up? Then what the heck am I?” “Jaejoong, you shouldn’t be saying that with your face,” “His skin looks so pure and clean.”

Meanwhile, Jaejoong just recently visited Turkey for a youth forum and attended a special dinner with South Korean President Lee Myung Bak at the Turkish Presidential Palace.
