[NEWS] 120312 JYJ's Chile Concert Convered by Major US Media including REUTERS

Reuters recently covered on JYJ’s concert in Chile capital Santiago on March 10. “JYJ becomes the first K-Pop group to perform in the South American country,” stated Reuters.

The video clip of 50 seconds described, “More than 5,000 Chileans flocked to Santiago to see the trio - singing and dancing along to their hits. The young singers have just two studio albums, but already have a loyal and growing fan base in Asia and beyond.”

Also stated, “The group's pop sound with elements of dance and R&B kept the audience on their feet throughout the show. JYJ will continue their tour in Peru.”

The video footage has been used on several news website including but not limited to the Chicago Tribune, AOL.com, Verizon.com, and LA Times.

[Fan Project] Getting JYJ on US shows project

Hi Cassies (and JYJ Fans)

So far, we have been bugging about bringing JYJ onto Ellen Degeneres show in the US, for those who don’t know her, she is one of the best hosts in the US with highest ratings (approx Oprah Winfrey, the most powerful woman in the world). So to promote JYJ in the US with the hope of having more US-Cassies, we would really want to bring JYJ to her show.

On top of that, we would want to promote our oppas even more; hence, we would also try to bring them to The Today Show which is also another high-rating-program <3

So iCassies have created a webpage showing you how to write letters, facebook, twitter, email the organiser of the 2 shows, and the standard style.

WE REALLY NEED A BIG BOOST TO THIS PROJECT IF WE WANT OUR BELOVED JYJ FAMOUS WORLDWIDE, NOT JUST BEING LIMITTED IN ASIA XD

[Project Announcement] Promote JYJ to U.S. media!

~Operation American Dream~

Help promote JYJ to U.S. Media!

OBJECTIVES:

1) To raise awareness in the American media about JYJ’s and JYJ fandom’s inspiring story

2) To promote and build a favorable image of JYJ ahead of the North American leg of their World Tour

3) To convince American TV/news shows to invite JYJ as guests or do a special feature on them

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Look at the List of Contacts of email and mailing addresses of top American newspapers and television shows
2. Pick at least one newspaper AND one TV show
3. Fill in the provided template letter or write your own letter (Note: THE TEMPLATE LETTER IS ONLY FOR NEWSPAPERS*) and send it to your chosen newspaper(s). Likewise, send an email or snail mail to your chosen TV show
4. Repeat frequently

* We have not prepared a template letter/email for TV and news shows because each show has a different policy in terms of email/mail format that they accept. Many have character or word limits that vary one from the other. Therefore, we have decided to leave it to your discretion when contacting TV shows. Emphasize the points you find important from the template letter (or points we may have overlooked) and be creative! ^^
