[News+Vid] 110830 JYJ sends a warm video message from Busan
On August 29th, JYJ’s official homepage unveiled a personal video message from JYJ under the title, “From JYJ in Busan”.
During the five-minute video, JYJ stated, “We were recently appointed as UNAIDS’ ambassadors and came down to Busan to perform.”
Junsu added, “We’re really pleased to meet you all again as JYJ after such a long time, and we’ll work harder to show a great image.”
“To our fans, we’re always thankful and love you, and we wish you to be with us, together,” said Yoochun and Jaejoong.
Meanwhile, JYJ are scheduled to perform at the closing ceremonies for the “2011 Daegu World Athletics Championships” on September 4th.

ICAAP posted Yoochun and Junsu’s autographs on their website, along with the press release below.
JYJ, appointed as ICAAP10 Ambassadors
JYJ the Korean singer leading the Korean Wave has been appointed as ICAAP10 ambassadors of The 10th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific(ICAAP10).
ICAAP10 is the largest AIDS conference in the region and the first international AIDS-related conference in Korea. It will be held at BEXCO in Busan from 26 to 30 this month, gathering more than 4,000 AIDS experts and politicians from 70 countries in Asia and the Pacific.
Junsu and Yucheon, received the letter of appointment at the Imperial Palace Hotel located in southern Seoul. The other member Jejung wasn’t participated for the other schedule.
Yucheon Park said “By this opportunity of being a PR ambassador, I could cast away a prejudice of AIDS. I will try my best for the right understanding of AIDS in Asia,” Yucheon’s big smile was given lots of attention by many photographers and taken as pictures.
Junsu Kim said “ICAAP10 is a place where people of various fields in more than 70 nations are coming. We will also participate in it”
The Chair of the organization committee Cho Myeong hwan revealed his anticipation. “By appointing JYJ leading the Korean Wave stream, a social consensus for prevention of AIDS can be formed in the Asia.”. He also stressed as saying,”This opportunity will be the test-bed for Korea as leading country in Asia not only for the economy, also the culture and social responsibility.”
This year has become the 30th year since AIDS has been discovered.
Note: There currently has been no announcement of JYJ’s attendance to this conference. So, let’s wait for official confirmation. ^^.
