[NEWS] 111121 JYJ join together with Park Yoohwan and Song JiHyo for “A Peaceful Day” Pictorial
JYJ, along with the other CjeS entertainment artists, came together for a pictorial that promoted love and sharing for the “Share Happiness” campaign.
JYJ (Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu) gathered together with Song Jihyo and Park Yoohwan for the ELLE pictorial, which had a concept of “Hippie freedom and peace, a peaceful day among five family members”.
In particular, this was the first time for real life brothers Park Yoochun and actor Park Yoohwan to do a photoshoot together and neither could conceal their joy about it. There was a good mood while shooting and Park Yoochun teased about sending the photos from the shoot directly to their mother. Park Yoohwan stated “It is an honor for me to be working with my brother and these great sunbaes on this shoot.”
Shoot officials stated, “Even though there was exhaustion due to advanced shooting and JYJ’s European Tour preparations, Kim Jaejoong drove his own car and arrived thirty minutes early to the shoot in order to help the staff and lessen their burdens, which caused us to be very impressed by him.”
When asked of anything special that existed between the CjeS family members, JYJ member Kim Junsu stated “Song Jihyo nuna is the only female actress that I have in my contacts. I feel proud”
Song Jihyo stated “This is really the first shot that me and the other members of my agency, Park Yoohwan and the JYJ members, have all done with each other. You can really see the happiness we felt all being in one place together”
This pictorial, which benefits the African charity “Share Happiness”, will appear in the December edition of ELLE magazine.

JUNSU SAYS:
Q: I have many thoughts, or I am simple?
A: I am actually on the side of having many thoughts. When I was staying in Berlin also for the European tour I walked the night streets thinking of this and that. For the first time in a very long while. While I walked, four hours had passed. I have many thoughts but I am on the side of trying to get rid of them quickly. I believe in the power of optimism.
Q: How to become happy when it is difficult.
A: Think of the fans who are waiting [for us]! When you think of that, you do your best no matter what. If I were to answer a bit more honestly, daydreaming about playing soccer? Just the thought makes me happy. Of course when I actually step on the playing field it feels better.
Q: The playlist that gets me “up” nowadays.
A: The new song by Jason Mraz, The World As I See It, I am immersed into.
Q: If there was a special existence among the C-JeS family.
A: Jihyo nuna is the only female actress out of everyone I know. I am proud. Haha.
Q: Your thoughts on charity.
A: Perhaps because I am young, when I am exposed to the word “charity” I think I feel a bit embarrassed. But I do feel a sense of responsibility. Nowadays I think often that as much as I give, I wish there were more people who would give because of me. There is ‘Building Houses of Love’ and the donation for the earthquake damages with JYJ members, but among them all I like it best the supporting the children of Africa. The kids look so cute.”
Q: If you had a catchphrase of life.
A: ‘A bad thing becomes a good thing!’ Even if there is a difficult thing I try to think positive. When I have optimistic thoughts in the end things turn to the right direction. I learned this from the recent 2 years and I am learning life a bit also.
Q: The book you read recently.
A: Because I am starting practice soon for the musical Elisabeth I read a book related to this. As I am the happiest on stage, I should work hard.
Junsu, a striker, is active. He plays soccer with the managers and then immerses himself at playing catch-ball with Jaejoong. He also sings loudly next to Yoochun who is interviewing.
When filming, no matter what pose he takes it was to “seductive” and thus made the audience into a sea of laughter.
He is a wise/fun person who draws attention with a joke when time to time the interest of staff diverts to another place.

JAEJOONG SAYS:
Q: How was the European Tour?
A: Both the Spain concert and the Germany concert were fun. It feels that, in the midst of fear that comes due to it being the first time, I’ve spotted “hope.” I’ve found a new goal as well. [For instance,] the feeling of seeing Caucasians sing along to our songs was significantly different from the feeling received with Asian fans. It felt new/strange.
Q: If you had an item that you definitely pack in your travel trunk.
A: Erm. The slipper that they sell at the market. Thick fur is lining it and so it is soft/warm.
Q: How to become happy on a difficult day.
A: When a spot hurts, when you pinch another place actually the hurt in that place feels less. For instance, on a day after drinking heavily because of low spirits, I eat (to wake up) severely. I eat too much to the degree that my stomach hurts! I regret that moment thinking that I ate it for nothing and then I pay attention to the belly sticking out a bit. So then I work out. The method is that you have more of the meaningless thoughts and so you forget the actual important thing?
Q: (To Jaejoong who is playing catch-ball) Do you like playing catch-ball?
A: (In seriousness) I think that the “catch-ball of the heart” between the person and another is the most important thing.
Q: If you had one week or so of vacation.
A: Absolutely [not]! Never! I don’t want to go on a vacation. I have a wish that I would have time to stay a long time in the new house that I’ve moved into. When I am alone, that feels lonely and that feels good. I also have the wish that I want to rest without any thoughts.
Q: A habit that no one knows.
A: I think that out of my face I feel the most confident about my lips, and perhaps because of that I stick my tongue out often. Because I want to make it moist/supple. (The reporter turned away her head because of awkwardness/embarrassment, and Jaejoong tapped to say) And red lips are better than white ones and so sometimes I bite them also. Haha.
Q: Feeling full of the heart?
A: I am still hungry. I think it is lacking.
Q: Then the moment in which you feel that you are happy.
A: The moment in which I’ve completed the song that I’ve made myself by singing it with the members. Before letting anyone else hear it yet, we hear it by ourselves and feel pleasure—that moment. In some ways, I think that this moment is one of the small happinesses.”
[Jaejoong said] “Nuna, why is no one here.” Yes. You (Jaejoong) are #1.
There are not many – or none at all – celebs who appear in this isolated mountain-place without a manager, and 30 minutes earlier than call time even. So there is no way but to feel mortified [out of not knowing what to do on the staff/reporter’s part]. We carried the luggage/equipment together. And Jaejoong left breezily to have haejanggook (T/N: rustic Korean dish).

[NEWS] JYJ Spread for December Elle Issue is Part of a Charity Project
JYJ — The Three Youths Shining Under the Sun in a Photospread
Group JYJ contributed to a charity project by participating in a photo spread—a warm news.
In the revealed cuts of photospread, JYJ showed unaltered the image of the youth shining beautifully under the autumn sun. Even though it is a B-cut photospread, it is a quality that does not fall short of a formal one and thus gather aplenty the anticipation of the fans.
The photospread of the December issue of Elle is a part of the fashion magazine Elle’s charity project Share Happiness. It has become known that aside from JYJ, actor Park Yoohwan, Song Jihyo, 2NE1 and such numerous stars and brands participated.
The article and spread on JYJ will be revealed through the December issue of the fashion magazine Elle.

To celebrate their 19th anniversary, fashion magazine Elle will be releasing a special edition booklet ‘Men We Loved for 19 Years’ of male celebrities.
The male stars in the booklet who will be showing off a different charm include Cha Seung Won, Jang Dong Gun, Jung Woo Sung, So Ji Seob, Song Joong Ki, Kim Jaejoong and Lee Seung Gi. The booklet is drawing more attention for including interviews with famous celebrities such as Lee Oi Soo, Park Ji Sung and DJ DOC.
The ‘Men We Loved for 19 Years’ booklet, which will be the same size as the actual magazine, will have a total of 150 pages and will be released with the November issue of Elle.

The license fashion magazine Elle has published a monumental special supplement in commemoration of the 19th anniversary of its founding.
It has put in one book the photo spreads of the male actors, stars, and artists who have been with Elle for 19 years. This special supplement has the title of Men We Loved for 19 Years and is published in the same size as the actual magazine. It is constructed as a full-size photo spread with about 150 pages.
In this supplement that contains the best of the male stars who are enough to make one’s jaw fall, there will be the stars who have hotly heated this current age, such Jang Dongun, Cha Seungwon, Jung Woosung, Kim Jaejoong, Song Joongki, Lee Seungki, and Soh Jisub. There will be interviews with those who crossed generations such as Lee Oisoo, Park Jisung, and DJ DOC.
On the other hand, the special supplement that Elle has ambitiously created, Men We Loved for 19 Years, can be seen in the November issue of Elle.

JYJ’s Jaejoong discusses the significance of his tattoos on “ElleTV”
On March 18th, Elle TV released their interview with JYJ’s Jaejoong, through which he discussed his tattoos, his current feelings, and future plans. The star had been collaborating closely with Elle TV for their unique photoshoot special, “Movie Still: Jaejoong”.
When asked by the reporter, “Is it true that you have a lot of tattoos?,” Jaejoong hesitated before answering, “Is that a bad thing? Honestly, there are a lot of negatives to getting tattoos, since it can affect the type of roles you can and can’t do with acting, but I’ve never once regretted getting my tattoos.”
He continued, “I’m merely engraving everything I hope to not forget, everything that consoles me, and everything I’m thankful for onto my body. The ‘Always Keep the Faith’ tattoo I have on the front represents my desire to protect my beliefs. The tattoos I have on my back, I don’t see often, but they’re there so that I can reflect on them when I do see them… I don’t think that I have tattoos on my body right now, so I’m curious as to how they’ll turn out in the pictures (laughter).”
Asked to describe his current feelings, he replied, “If before, I was maturing at the pace of one step a year, I’ve now jumped 10 steps. I’ve forgotten to be thankful for a while now, but I’m glad that I’ve remembered to be grateful. For now, I feel that I’m going through life where both hardship and happiness exists as one.”
On his future, Jaejoong replied, “I have received a lot of project offers, which I’m in positive discussion for. I’m spending my time by training and studying things like acting, English, and golf, in case my experience in them comes in useful later. I’ll also be spending a few weeks in the U.S. to discuss things on our future album release and our world tour.”

On the night of 18 March, through Fashion Magazine ELLE’s TV Channel, ELLEatTV, Jaejoong’s photo video ‘Movie Still Jaejoong’s Chapter’ was broadcasted. On this day, he said, “There are a lot of new propositions of work piece, all of which i’m reviewing it positively.”
He added, “I am spending my time taking up lessons and studying” and “acting lessons, English lessons, golf lessons and more. These are all my hobbies and it will be an experience for me and these studies that might become useful to my work in future.”
Adding on, he didn’t miss out to mention of his upcoming JYJ World Tour. He said, “The album that’s to be released in the USA, and discussions with regards about the performance of the World Tour, there are plans to go to the US for a couple of weeks” and added, “We’re planning to show more of what we weren't able to show at the only concert we had. Please show us lots of support.”
