[NEWS] 120405 JYJ To Hold Large-Scale Exposition in June for Fans

JYJ will be holding its first large-scale exposition for fans in June.
According to JYJ’s management agency, C-Jes, “For four days, beginning on June 28, we will hold the 2012 JYJ Membership Week at EC near Hangnyeoul station. The 2012 JYJ Membership Week will be an exposition held for JYJ’s global fans and will be a C-Jes supervised fan service for JYJ membership holders.”
The four-day long event will include a large-scale fan meeting, JYJ exhibition and other events to allow fans to see, hear and experience everything JYJ. Other planned events include a JYJ photo exhibition, a special food-zone selected by JYJ, and even recreational equipment.
C-Jes has been operating a fan-oriented membership system for fans in Korea and launched another membership system for fans in Japan. The June event is expected to bring in some 15,000 fans from Korea and Japan.
For fans in Japan, C-Jes will provide a special travel package which includes a discount on airline tickets, lodging and other services. The fan meeting event for holders of JYJ fanclub membership in Korea and Japan will be completely free.
JYJ added, “News that we will be able to spend four days with our friends through this festival is both joyful and also anxious-filled. For this exposition we will input many ideas and move actively to provide our fans with more joy. We hope this event will be an opportunity for us to return the love and support our fans have shown us.”

[NEWS] JYJ to hold a large-scale fan fair!
JYJ will be holding their first ever large-scale international fan fair!
The group’s management agency, C-JeS Entertainment, released the following statement on April 5th: “JYJ will be holding their 2012 Membership Week for 4 days starting on June 28th in SETEC at Hak Yeo Ul station.”
This international fan fair is something put together specifically for the fans, and will take place after JYJ concludes their World Tour.
The representative went on, “This large-scale fan meeting has been specially created for members who will have an opportunity to see, hear, and experience everything related to JYJ through various events. This will be the first time a fan exhibition of this size will be attempted in Korea.”
The format for the fan fair is described as diverse. Not only will JYJ’s promotions and activities be explained in detail, JYJ’s photo books will be on display, and there will be a corner for JYJ’s preferred foods, as well as rides and other fun things to help fans create special memories with their favorite K-Pop group.
A multimedia display of encouraging messages from fans overseas will also be in place, as well as a Fan Art competition, a design contest corner, a display of gifts given to JYJ by fans, JYJ’s ‘trick art’, as well as sticker picture machines.
C-JeS Entertainment continued, “We also plan on holding a dance cover festival with teams competing from different continents. C-JeS Entertainment plans to invite the top dance teams from each country after a pre-screening process. All expenses will be paid by C-JeS Entertainment.”
C-JeS Entertainment representative Baek Chang Joo remarked, “JYJ fans aren’t limited to Korea or Asia. Because they have an extremely broad fan base, the desires of the fans are also very different. This fan exhibition will be diverse enough to fulfill all the requests by all their fans, all at once.”
“Because this fan fair will not be for profit, we will not be sell MD goods and the fan meeting will also be free of charge,” he continued. ”We are holding the festival as our way of giving back to the fans who’ve cheered on JYJ until now, and it’ll be an event where everyone will be able to clearly see JYJ’s global popularity and fan power.”
The JYJ members commented, “We’re so happy and excited that we’ll be spending 4 days with our fans at this festival. We’ll be sending our ideas for the fan fair whenever we have time, and be actively participating in the planning process in hopes of making our fans that much happier. We hope that through this event, we will be able to return all the support and love our fans have always given us.”

‘Crown Prince of Rooftop House’ is scheduled for broadcast in March after the SBS Wednesday and Thursday drama ‘Take Care of Us, Captain’. The drama is expected to have a cast of pretty boys. JYJ’s Park Yoochun has been offered a role in the drama. The drama will be a male version of ‘Thousand Years of Love’ in which, a time traveller travels between Joseon Dynasty period and the present time.

Year 2011 is coming to an end. Great actors’ excellent acting on TV continued this year as well. Anticipation for another fantastic year of TV acting is increasing already. Who are actors that will captivate viewers’ heart next year? Drama department directors at KBS, MBC and SBS answered the question of who will be the rising stars of 2012.

Director Kim Youngsup of SBS’s drama department chose Song Joongki, Yoo Ah In andPark Yoochun among male actors as the rising stars for next year. Director Kim said, “Flower-like handsome [T/N: Very handsome men] actors that learned acting skills will be the general trend.” He predicted that “these actors’ remarkable activities will be a good fit with the trend of dramas getting younger.” [T/N: More dramas are hiring young actors with subjects that appeal to younger viewers these days.]

[INFO] Lotte to Reward Offline Customers with Star-Studded Calendar

Lotte Duty Free will distribute its 2012 calendar, which features pictures of Korean Wave stars who model for the group, to customers on a first-come first-served basis, it announced on Tuesday.
Actors Hyun Bin, Jang Keun-suk, Song Seung-hun, Choi Ji-woo and Kim Sa-rang, and K-pop stars JYJ, Kim Hyun-joong, and Big Bang are among high-profile stars who appear in the calendar.
It is available in three languages — Korean, Chinese and Japanese — and will be given to customers who have made purchases worth over US$500 at any of Lotte Duty Free’s offline stores.

Lotte DFS made ‘Year 2012 Stars Avenue Calendar’ with photos of Hallyu stars and has a year-end event to give out these calendars to customers with purchase, based on first come first served basis.
The photos of each month for this Year 2012 calendar are made up of close-up photo shots of Hallyu stars like Choi JiWoo, Song SeungHeon, Hyun Bin, JYJ, Kim Hyun Jung, Jang Geun Seok, Big Bang, 2PM, Kim SaRang and so forth who are Lotte DFS models currently.

The Star Avenue calendars would be made of 3 languages, namely, Korean, Chinese and Japanese. Korea version table calendar would be given to Koreans, Japanese and Chinese versions would be made into table and wall calendars and would be given to foreigners.
The table calendar would include 40 photo cuts of stars and the Japanese and Chines versions would also indicate the birthdays of a total of 9 teams, 20 stars.
This ‘Year 2012 Star Avenue Calendar’ has been made specially by Lotte DFS and would be given on a first come first serve basis and other than online Lotte DFS stores, a spending of USD500 and above at any of the physical Lotte DFS stores would entitle a person to redeem a copy only until while stocks last.
